2. Purpose of the website

This website presents Dr Nicolas Villard’s interventional radiology practice and the procedures he performs. It lets you get in touch, book an appointment and, for healthcare professionals, refer a patient. By using the website, you accept these terms.

3. Medical information

The information published is general and informative, in accordance with the rules on medical information (Art. 40 let. d of the Medical Professions Act). It does not replace a consultation: only a physician can decide on a treatment after an examination, and the results described may vary from one patient to another. In an emergency, call 144.

4. Forms and online booking

The forms must not be used for urgent situations. Healthcare professionals who refer a patient confirm that they have the patient’s consent to share their data (Art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code). Online booking is provided by an external booking module embedded in the website; an appointment is only final once it has been confirmed.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, images and illustrations on this website are protected by copyright. Any reproduction or use requires Dr Nicolas Villard’s prior permission, subject to the right of quotation (Art. 25 of the Copyright Act).

6. External links

The website contains links to third-party websites (clinics, medical societies, appointment booking). Dr Nicolas Villard has no control over their content and accepts no liability for it.

7. Liability

The content of the website is written carefully and updated regularly, without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or permanent availability. To the extent permitted by law, any liability for damage arising from the use of the website or from being unable to access it is excluded; liability for intent or gross negligence remains reserved (Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations).

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by law, in particular in favour of consumers (Art. 32 and 35 of the Swiss Civil Procedure Code).
