Cookie Policy

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser when you visit a website. In accordance with Art. 45c of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA), we inform you below of the cookies used, their purpose and how to refuse them.

2. Technical cookies (required)

  • Session cookie: keeps your browsing session and lets forms be sent; deleted after 2 hours of inactivity.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against fraudulent submissions; duration: 2 hours.

These cookies are required for the website to work.

3. Audience measurement

The website uses Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager, to measure the number of visits and pages viewed. Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies (duration: up to 2 years). These statistics are only used to improve the website’s content. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States (see our privacy policy).

4. Bot protection

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may set the _GRECAPTCHA cookie (duration: 6 months) to tell a human visitor from an automated submission.

5. Refusing or deleting cookies

You can refuse or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Refusing technical cookies may prevent the forms from being sent.

6. More information

To learn more about how your data is processed, see our privacy policy or write to secretariat@drvillard.ch.
